1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, if higher) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" means that organisation. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account; keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
If you authorise a third-party client such as ChatGPT to access Overhub through OAuth, you instruct us to accept requests from that connection within the scopes you approve. You remain responsible for reviewing tool results and any staged preview before you confirm or apply a change. You can revoke the connection to stop future access.
2. The Service
Overhub is an operator-first broadcast-control tool for Counter-Strike 2 productions: live overlays, scoreboards, brackets, on-air stat graphics, and the Overhub Collector, which reads live game state through Valve's official Game State Integration (GSI). We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
Where made available, the Service may include an optional connection that lets an authenticated user ask ChatGPT to read Overhub data or prepare actions through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Actions may use a temporary preview and require confirmation before they affect saved records. A reference to that connection in these Terms does not mean it is currently available or approved for public distribution.
3. Relationship to Valve, Steam, and third parties
Overhub is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Steam, or Counter-Strike. "Counter-Strike", "CS2", "Steam", and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to describe compatibility. Your use of Counter-Strike, Steam, Google, Discord, Stripe, and any other third-party service is governed by that third party's own terms, and we are not responsible for those services.
ChatGPT and OpenAI are third-party services and marks of their respective owner. Overhub is not endorsed by OpenAI. If you choose to use an available Overhub connection from ChatGPT, your use of ChatGPT and OpenAI's processing of the conversation, tool inputs, and tool outputs remain governed by OpenAI's terms, privacy policy, and account settings.
4. Anti-cheat / VAC — important
The Overhub Collector is built to use only Valve's official, input-only GSI interface and, by design, does not read, write, or inject into the Counter-Strike or Steam process or memory. We built it with the intention of being compatible with Valve's anti-cheat (VAC). Nevertheless, we do not control Valve's anti-cheat systems and make no warranty about how Valve classifies any software. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any game or account ban, suspension, or restriction imposed by Valve or any third party. You use the Service at your own risk in this respect.
5. Your content
You retain all rights in the content you create or upload (event data, team/player details, logos, images — "Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including rendering it into your live overlay, which you may broadcast publicly). You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to Your Content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or any law. You are solely responsible for Your Content, including any logos, photographs, or personal data of others that you upload.
When you request a connected-tool workflow, this limited licence also permits us to transmit the necessary tool input and output to and from the third-party client, and to create temporary staged preview records for your review. It does not give us a broader licence to Your Content.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights;
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you lack the rights to;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by mandatory law;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, rate-limiting, or access controls;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly allowed by your plan;
- use the Free plan for commercial purposes — Free is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only (paid broadcasts, sponsored events, or production work for clients require a paid plan);
- use the Service to attempt to gain an unfair or prohibited advantage in any game or to circumvent any anti-cheat system;
- overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure; or
- use automated means to scrape or abuse the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
7. Plans, billing, and refunds
Some features require a paid subscription. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method for each renewal at the then-current price, plus any applicable taxes.
Free trial. Your first Pro subscription may include a free trial (currently 7 days). A valid payment method is required to start the trial, and the subscription begins automatically at the trial's end unless you cancel before then via the Stripe customer portal. One trial per customer.
Price changes. Prices may change. If a change would increase what you pay, we will notify you in advance and you may cancel before the change takes effect; if you do not cancel, the new price applies from your next billing cycle. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid period.
EU consumers — 14-day withdrawal right. If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital services without giving a reason. Because our paid plans give you immediate access, at checkout you will be asked to (i) expressly request that we begin providing the paid Service immediately, during the 14-day withdrawal period, and (ii) acknowledge that once we have fully performed you lose your right of withdrawal, and, where performance is not yet complete, that you will pay for the part already provided. We will confirm this consent to you on a durable medium (e.g. by email). If you begin using the paid Service before giving this consent and acknowledgement, your 14-day withdrawal right is not waived and you may withdraw and receive a refund for the unused remainder as required by law.
Except where you have a statutory withdrawal or refund right, and except as required by mandatory law, fees already paid are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Overhub or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your plan. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. Any feedback you give us may be used without restriction or obligation to you.
9. Service availability; “as is”
We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that it will meet your requirements. We do not warrant any specific uptime unless separately agreed in writing.
10. Limitation of liability
If you use the Service as a business (B2B): to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or the cost of substitute services.
If you are a consumer: we are liable for damage we cause in accordance with mandatory Czech and EU law; nothing above limits that liability, and the monetary cap and exclusion of damage types above apply to you only to the extent such limitation is permitted by mandatory consumer-protection law.
In all cases, nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for intentional or grossly negligent conduct (Section 2898 of the Czech Civil Code).
11. Indemnification
This Section applies only where you use the Service as a business or otherwise not as a consumer. To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify us against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent the claim results from our own breach or unlawful conduct. If you are a consumer, this Section does not apply; instead, you are responsible for Your Content and your use of the Service only to the extent provided by mandatory law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or fail to pay. On termination, your licence ends and we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period (see the Privacy Policy for retention). Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 15) survive.
You may also disconnect an authorised third-party integration without closing your Overhub account. Unapplied staged previews expire or are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy; changes you already applied remain part of Your Content until you edit or delete them through the Service.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of the Czech Republic have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that if you are a consumer, you benefit from the mandatory protections and competent courts of your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to alternative dispute resolution; in the Czech Republic the competent ADR body for consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz). The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. If a change materially and adversely affects you, you may reject it by closing your account before it takes effect; your continued use after that date means you accept the change.
15. Miscellaneous
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable part is limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
